I am so honored to have been invited to participate in the 30th annual St Croix Valley Pottery Tour! I’ll be setting up at Jeff Oestreich’s studio in Taylors Falls, MN. The dates of the tour are May 6, 7, and 8, 2022.
Ten-day Hands-on Workshop at La Meridiana in Tuscany →
I’ll be teaching a workshop entitled “From Ancient Vessels to Contemporary Form” at La Meridiana International School of Ceramics in Certaldo from May 22 to June 4, 2022. In this class we’ll do lots of traveling in and around Tuscany to see museum collections of ancient and historical vessels, particularly those of the Etruscans. In the studio, students will hand-build or use the pottery wheel to make their own vessels inspired by these historical objects.

My work “Ginkgo Art Nouveau Tea and Coffee Service” will be part of an exhibition at the Everson Museum entitled “Renegades and Reformers: American Art Pottery”. I am so thrilled to be included in an exhibition that contains works by the esteemed Adelaide Alsop Robineau.
